What better way to celebrate 31 than with half a million dollars in rare Birkins?

Any true lover of Hermes knows Cardi B’s collection rivals some of the best we’ve seen from other celebrities and influencers. From previous posts on her Instagram we can estimate she has at least 26 different Birkins in different colors, styles and exotic skins. Basically every girl’s dream collection.

Here’s our question: Did her an Offset plan to add four more to her collection for her 31st birthday bringing her to a grand total of 31? Regardless, the female rapper added some beautiful pieces to her collection this past week.

Offset posted videos of Cardi B opening the bags but she recently posted our first view of the bags 4 days ago alongside an ultra-luxe hot pink bouquet of roses. But enough about the flowers let’s talk about the bags.

The first first bag Cardi B opened was not actually a Birkin at all, it was a pink Shiny Alligator Kelly Pochette with gold hardware (featured on the far left of the photo). Just because it’s not a Birkin doesn’t mean it’s not a rare piece. The Kelly Pochette in Shiny Alligator can resell for upwards of $60,000. Not a bad opening act.

Her second bag, and our personal favorite was a Faubourg Birkin 20 in White with Matte Alligator. This is one of the most expensive Hermes bags on the Birkin market. It rivals the Himalayan Birkin with a resale value of $250,000! This bag’s design is intended to capture the vibe of the famous flagship boutique in Paris. There are actually four variation of the Faubourg and collecting all four of them is known as a Faubourg Square, or Beijing Courtyard in China.

Drumroll please for our last Birkin of the trio - the Shiny Crocodile Sellier Birkin 25 in a color similar to Ficelle. Exotic Birkins like this can often fetch up to $100,000 on the resale market.

It’s suggested that Offset did not source these on the resale market but from actual Hermes boutiques which would mean he paid far less collectively for the bags. Regardless of this her collection value just got a significant upgrade.

And what’s a birthday celebration without an encore? As if the first three bags were not enough, Cardi B posted a TikTok yesterday showing off a fourth birthday Birkin captioned “A little birthday gift from me to me” (click the picture to see the full video on TikTok).

We are all for this act of self-love, treat yourself girl! This Matte Alligator Birkin 25 in what looks to be Rose Shocking, is literally shocking. We’re shook with how beautiful this piece is, what an amazing addition to her collection. In our opinion, this was the perfect way to wrap up her birthday Birkin celebrations.
