Love May Be Blind, But TikTok Is Not

Love is Blind seems to be the tea everyone is pouring this past week, and we’re here for every minute of it. We’d almost argue the TikTok tea has been hotter than the season itself this year.

One of the biggest stories that have been getting shared across TikTok are the fact that four additional couples got engaged that Netflix did not show. These couples include: Renee and Carter, Estefania and Jarred, Paige and Josh, and lastly Erica and Enoch.

While the other three couples are only speculation and not actually confirmed, Renee and Carter did in fact say “yes” to getting engaged on the show. Their love story actually made it as far as the alter but we were not shown any of this footage throughout the season. Renee has recently posted photos from the season during filming where she can be seen with Lydia and Stacy wearing matching Bride jackets during the wedding dress shopping.

From what TikTok detectives are saying Renee and Carter did not work out because she allegedly was actively dating her now husband during the time she was filming the show. Renee and Carter did not end up getting married at the alter but within 10 months she was married to someone else.

Most of what’s shared on TikTok about the details of Renee and Carter’s relationship has been speculation. However we’re soon going to hear the full story from Renee herself. There will be an episode about Renee and Carter’s relationship released today on Out of the Pods, hosted by past cast members Deepti Vempati and Natalie Lee. In the episode teaser they posted on their Instagram yesterday they shared clips of their interview with Renee where she shares her entire journey on Love Is Blind. We can finally hear at least one side of the story and hopefully gain some clarity on what exactly went down after the couple decided to get engaged. There have been no confirmed interviews with Carter that we have been able to source at this time.

While this season has been action packed with drama, flow charts, and deep dives regarding every minute of the show, there have also been some creators out there giving us comedic relief.
